This recent terrace project in Wrotham, Sevenoaks was designed to make the most of the space adjacent to the client’s house. We created a raised platform area using Sandstone setts and designed a matching Sandstone circular feature within the main lower terrace to create further interest and continuity. The remaining terrace was laid in large format porcelain tiles with matching raised porcelain plinths to accentuate some of the planting zones. An aluminium pergola with louvered roof slats was designed in to give the option of shade in this sunny south facing position. The project was finished off with a planting and lighting scheme to add the finishing touches.
