Garden Design in Kent

This scheme was a challenge due to its Northerly aspect – The client wanted me to seek out and make the most of the pockets of sunshine on the far side of the garden. As a result I created the main chillout sofa area away from the house to maximise sunlight and then linked this to the adjacent covered pergola area for dining and cooking. An outdoor Cedar Garden Room was also designed in to create further living space for the clients children – all was linked together with porcelain tiled paths, Millboard decking and contrasting herringbone clay paved feature areas. Upon completion the various spaces were softened with a well balanced planting and lighting scheme. The clients were over the moon with the final result and said that it was the garden that had stopped them from moving house when an unexpected opportunity arose for them! They are still there enjoying the space today!
