Garden Design in Kent

The clients were absolutely delighted at the end of this 5 month project (and so were we). I designed this large country garden in Tunbridge Wells, Kent in such a way that it incorporated multiple areas of interest leading down to the previously unused rear of the garden. It starts with the more formal Porcelain terrace/swimming pool area against the house with Porcelain steps leading down to the lawn and path. The path then leads down to the rear of the garden past a new avenue of trees (Pyrus Chanticleer / ornamental Pear). At the rear of the garden a less formal style is evident with curved grass paths snaking in between the sweeping shapes of the new wild flower areas. A Millboard deck (Antique Oak) and new Cedar hot tub were installed and off of the deck was a rustic kids sunken area for them to build dens and enjoy ‘camp fires’ with the family, surrounded with lush planting. A curved ragstone seat, circular paved area with fire pit created a shady spot to enjoy the garden from another angle. As well as these main features there was also a Chicken Coop, kids commercial play area, Cedar changing room, full planting and lighting scheme incorporated.
