Garden Design in Kent

When our clients moved into their new development house they were faced with a very small sloping piece of badly laid turf which was very impractical. They were keen to make the most of the outside space and commissioned us to design and build an exciting garden extension area to flow out from their kitchen.
As they were keen for us to create more of a contemporary courtyard and were not interested in having a small patch of lawn we set about on a bold sunken seating area with a lush planted perimeter. The use of synthetic Millboard decking and Sawn Sandstone creates a bright inviting space and the use of plants helps to soften the scheme throughout. We installed painted pressure treated screening around the perimeter so none of the traditional fencing could be seen – this creates a much cleaner feel to the garden and evokes a sense of ‘room’ rather than traditional garden boundary.

Built in Millboard benches and a central fire pit table finish the scheme nicely and create a really cosy place to entertain or just sit and relax.

The clients are thrilled with their new space and look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.
